This picture started out as a combination of being inspired by pretty colored manga scans and wanting to test out coloring traditional lineart digitally.

It's of my character Imber being emo out in the rain. He doesn't actually wear an earing but I was thinking about how ~kamai drew an earing on him in my art trade with her, so while I was drawing this I was thinking about a backstory of why he might randomly have an earing, and it worked it's way into the picture.
..not that anyone really cares. XD;

I spent much more time on the lineart than I normally do as that was my main focus of the first part, and although I messed up on parts of it, I like how the majority of it turned out.

The background is ok, I'm not too good at drawing rainy scenes yet but it turned out better than I thought it would.
The coloring was also a little new to me, I don't think I've tried to make a person appear wet before, but I like how it came out.
